Can I Bring My Granddaughter Out to Me?
My question involves grandparents rights in the State of: Tennessee and Arizona. I live in Arizona and my granddaughter lives in Tennessee with her aunt. Both of her parents have passed away. Her aunt doesn't appear to be conducting herself as a loving aunt should toward her niece. In that she is causing my granddaughter mental anguish, hardship in taking away things that are not listed under her gaurdianship such as possentions left to her by her mother and my son. I would like to know, if anything, I could do to have gaurdianship transfered to me until my granddaughter turns 18 in March?

Her Aunt would need to agree to a change in guardianship unless you can prove that the child is being abused or neglected.

From what you've written, it does not appear that such is the case.
