    Consequences for Retail Theft
My question involves criminal law for the state of: Florida.

I was caught stealing a t-shirt from Bealls the other day. It is my first criminal offense but I did admit to the crime in front of the arresting officer. What should I expect my consequences to be?

    . fines (less than $500.00)
    . Probation (summary)
    . Community service
    . Ban from victim
. Civile Demand (outside of court fines)
    . Criminal record

As you were told in your other thread you should seek an Attorney

Ok, i have not recieved a court date yet but i did get a civil restitution letter from Beall's for 200 dollars. I plan on paying that tomorrow with no problems. Will that help reduce any of the penalties i may recieve from court? And if so, what could it help reduce?

Civil Demand and court have nothing to do with each other.
