I-130 for Mother After 10 Years Removal
    hi,
mom was removed from us in 98.
in 94 she applied for asylum/refugee and was denied. she was supposed to leave
US in 95. Said didnot get letter from USCIS cause she had moved. anyhow got married in 97 and was applying for AOS. At interview for AOS she was detained and accepted to be removed days later. Now that was in 98. it has been 10 years now which is length of ban i heard for such case. I , her son, gained US citizenship 5 years ago, now applied for I-131 for mom. I-131 now in final stage. Interview in home country for mom possibly in July=august...want to know what are chances? similar case? didnot want to consult lawyer cause case seems pretty clear to me. all questions on immigration Form I-212 are pretty straight forward after 10 years...no for all.
    Pleas advise..
    thanks to all

If her period of ineligibility is over, she doesn't need to apply for a waiver. (But past immigration issues could still interfere with a new effort to immigrate.) Is it over or not?
