I'm 17 and 2 months and my Boyfriend and i have been dating for awhile. My parents don't like him because he is 23 and has a bit of a record so they forbid me from seeing or speaking to him or they would call the cops on him for being with a minor:eek:. Can they do that and can he get in trouble for being with me?:(
Yes and yes.
Until you're 18, you're under your parents' control.
If they say "No boyfriend for you!", they have that right.
They can slap a restraining order on him, and if he violates it, he can go to jail.
alright well i have another question then..... say i was emancipated... does that mean i can "legally" be with him without any trouble
