Minor caught shoplifting while on probation
Hello! My nephew lives in Florida and is in probaton for shoplifting...Just got caught in Kmart for shoplifting again! I don't have all the details because it just happened. When he got caught the last time he spent like day in jail and was released to my sister on probation nad had to take some classes. What will happen to him now? He's been inclined to shoplift since he was 5 years old? Can anybody shed some light on what to expect?

    Juvenile Justice System
The juvenile justice system typically gives the judge who presides over the case broad discretion to fashion an appropriate remedy, which may include incarceration, house arrest, probation, counseling, community service, or a range of other measures. Ideally, the judge will help your nephew get the help he needs. A local lawyer may be able to give you an educated guess as to what the judge will do, based upon past experience with the judge in similar cases.
