Social Security Disability And Workers Comp Offset In California
I recently won my SS case which goes back to Oct. of 2004. I am trying to determine the formula SS uses to decide if there is an offset for the W/C I received while I was fighting the SS case. I don't want to just trust SS figures as I have not had A great experience with them so far. SS estimated figures in my award letter at $917 per month offset during a 19 month period when I was receiving $800 a month is W/C so you can see why I want to check the numbers myself. Is there a private service available to do these caculations?

What do you mean by "a private service"? There are law firms that assist with Social Security claims, and perhaps you can get them to help you as part of a free consultation. You can also check to see if your local legal aid office helps with Social Security, and if you qualify for their assistance (if so, it would be free).
