    Minnesota Emancipation Law
I'm fairly certain that there is no statute in Minnesota for the emancipation of minors.. but what's this I've heard about a case law saying it is okay by legal marriage or parental consent? Does this mean you could take your case to a lawyer and if your parents both agreed to the idea you could be legally emancipated? And also, if you have some certain needs (ie, an illness that requires medication) would a judge automatically deny you emancipation because you couldn't afford to keep yourself healthy?

    Emancipation in Minnesota
    It probably means that:

    * If you lawfully marry, Minnesota courts will treat you as a legal adult and as part of a new household with your spouse, as opposed to your former household with your parents.

    * If your parents permit you to establish an independent residence, you are self-supporting, and you demonstrate capacity to manage your own financial and social affairs, a court might regard you as an adult in relation to such things as your capacity to enter into contracts or owning a vehicle. You probably would require an order of emancipation from a court to make this type of emancipation effective.

For further clarification you will probably need to consult a Minnesota family lawyer.
