    Adjunct To An Existing Device
I have built an electrical device that screws on to the back end of a Maglite flashlight. Am I in any way in violation Maglite's patent on their flashlight? The threads are not standard. However, my device is not in anyway a competitor to the Maglight. I am in the state of CA.

    TIA!

It's possible. There's no way for us to tell you for sure.

What you need to do is take your product to an attorney specializing in patent law and have him/her look it and MagLite's patent over.
