Unpaid Wages
Hi,
I've resigned (quit) from my previous job. I sent in a 2 week notice to my employer informing about resignation, at that time my employer said that he will make the final settlement of the salary by the end of the month. Now recently he has sent an e-mail stating that he cannot pay me because the client has not paid him.
I have all his e-mails and approved time sheets for the hours worked...is it possible that I get the unpaid wages for 3 weeks and what do I need to do for that?
It has been 2 months since I left that job.
Thanks in advance

Re: Unpaid Wages
You can file a complaint with the department of labor, and probably also file a wage complaint with the equivalent state office in the state where you were working. You can also consider suing.
