US Citizen Getting Married To A Minor In Colombia
    Hi,

I'm a 26yr old that is will be getting married to a 17yr old in colombia. We have parental consent to marry in Colombia. After the marriage i'm planning to apply for an immigrant visa for her to enter the US legally. Will immigration or the US embassy give me probles becasue she is still a minor???

If it's a lawful marriage, and you can document the relationship that led to the marriage, I don't expect it to be a big issue. You didn't give us the background. If this is what they might deem a "mail order" marriage, the focus would likely be on whether or not the marriage is bona fide.

No this is not a mail order bride. My family is from colombia and I have been going back and fourth for about 4 times a year it is a real relationship.

I was just worried that immigration would give me problems when I filed the petition or when it is time for her to show up at the embassy.
