My question involves criminal law for the state of: VIRGINIA
My 17 year old was arrested 3 days ago and given a citation for public intoxication & possession of alcohol by a minor. His address & birth date are wrong are on the citations, but he was at his dad's house for the weekend and his step-mother signed the citations....are they valid?

Yes, the citation is valid.
By the address being "wrong", you mean that the citation lists his father's address? Then until he updates the information, court notices will go to dad's house.
