MIP In South Carolina for Beer
My question involves criminal law for the state of: South Carolina
I was at a party for only a little while when the police showed up and gave everyone tickets. I am from North Carolina. I got a minor possession of beer. I was not drinking but I have to go to court. What am I looking at depending on whether I plead not guilty or no contest?
Re: MIP In South Carolina
If you plead "not guilty" the matter will be set for trial.
If you plead "no contest" and the judge accepts your plea, you will be convicted of the offense and sentenced.
