Getting Emancipation And Permission To Move
My question involves emancipation laws for the State of: Arizona.

How does a girl of 16 receive emancipation, and the ability to move to another state? She wishes to leave AZ to move to IL, and continue her education, and be in a safe home?
I am willing to allow her to live here, but want her emancipated first. I know she is not fed well, and her father drinks.

Nothing you desribe has much to do with emancipation. Emancipation (If state has a statute) is about self support not change of custody

She qualifies for it under the laws of her state. If her state does not have an emancipation statute, then she does not receive emancipation.

    It really is that simple.

Arizona does have statutes that address the issue in the link above. That doesn't mean that this 16 year old meets the criteria though.
