Unfairly In Child Support Arrears Can't Get A Visa For Travel
I saw a response to a member called Handyman that basically has the same situation regarding CS arrears and how to stop it. My wife in the divorce decree was ordered to pay $200 per mo. She made cash payments, not all had receipts, checks and even gave him back the car she was awarded in the decree whith him saying it would be a $5,000 credit towards the child support
He there after had her wages garnished and is now stuck with arrears and interest. Their daughter turned 18 7 years ago and has been vacationing with my wife and our family for the past 6 years and due to this can't get a visa. She has worked for the us postal service for 23 years and all her family is here. We just want her to get a visa so we can go to Mexico and ? and also get this darn stuff stopped.
Any help Dad#1 or Dazd #2 said he had a friend that went to small claims against the child support office and won. Any ides or factual knowledge. Relly appreciate it.

The only way to solve the problem will be by your wife paying the arrears. It's unfortunate for your wife that she paid in ways that she couldn't prove, but that does not cancel any arrears that the court says she owes.
