My foreign fiance just found out there is a warrant for his arrest here in the US from 1994. Will they automatically deny his K1 based upon this- or will he be able to come here to resolve this?

That's a big "it depends". We don't know anything about the charge or warrant. It's sensible for him to consult an immigration lawyer.
