Proving Innocent In Damage To Property
My question involves criminal law for the state of: illinois

i was charged with damage to property after this guy had his window broken and the cops came to my house and told my parents i needed to come to the station to talk to them about it. so i went to the station and the cop asks me about the window and i said i didn't do it then he just says ok you're being charged. so i was just wondering what are the chances to prove my self innocent and this guys chances to prove me guilty with no proof whatsoever? also how will this trial all work out, im guessing im gonna need a lawyer?

If you want to go to trial, yes, you need a criminal defense lawyer. You will discuss your chances with your lawyer.
