Marriage On A Student Visa
I am an American citizen born and raised and I met a girl from Africa who my uncle brought over for her to go to school, we met and fell in love and have been dating ever since, we are traveling over there in two weeks to have our formal engagement/introduction as we are thinking of getting married ether over there during our trip, or later on this year in the states, what would be the best course of action? We both wish for her to stay in school and when she is finished we will both return for a time to Africa if we need to, or want to. Does she need to change status? Can she be married on a student visa as long as she honors her obligations to that visa; is it better to have a foreign marriage certificate or one from the states? Thanks

Yes. And since she is already here, it's easiest for you two to get married here and apply for her green card.
Get hitched, then file form I-130 and form I-485.
Congratulations on your impending marriage!

You have to be careful about petitioning to adjust her status if she's planning a return trip home. Once you petition, until the petition is granted she needs advance parole to travel abroad.
