My question involves child support in the State of: Florida
My ex and I divorced in 2001. Our divorce decree ordered him to pay $100.00 a week for child support. He got behind for almost 3 years and then I decided to file through CSE. Since signing up, he has been making regular payments. In the initial paperwork from the state, I signed an Affidavit of Arrears that showed he was behind over $14,000. How do I get my back child support? When I call the state's customer service number, they state he's not behind because he's been making payments. When I mention that I signed an Affidavit of Arrears, they can't educate or direct me what to do. Do I ask for a court date or a modification? Please lead me in the right direction to get the support that is owed.
