Lord and Taylor

My friend has been caught shoplifting a while ago in Lord and Taylor. They didn't call the police and after filling out some kind of a paperwork she was free to go. How long will such an incident appear in store's record? She just got a job offer in Lord and Taylor and she'll be going for an interview next week. Is this possible they could find this out? Should she stay away from Lord and Taylor and its parent companies?

If there were no police involved is it possible that Lord and Taylor filled out a police report after the incident? What's the best way to find this out?

The store will maintain a record in accord with its internal policies; perhaps one of the loss prevention officers who stop by here will have some idea of what those policies are.

If she wasn't banned from the store, she can go back.

L&T will hold the records for ever. her info was entered into a computer system which is avaliable to every L&T store to look up info. now when she was filling out the paperwork she signed a civil demand which was the fine she recieved also she should have had to fil out a tresspass warning, usually it will be for 2 years - which means she is not aloud in any L&T, if she enters they can pick her up for tresspassing, so....she should stay farrrrr away!

I can't believe she'd even try to get a job there. They might get her for tresspassing right at the interview. I'm sure she was banned from the store.
