Can I Sue The Seller Of A Boat When Sheriff Seizes The Boat Because It Was Stolen?
My question involves a consumer law issue in the State of: Michigan

I bought a boat from a private seller, not knowing that he did not own the boat. After the fact, I tried to sell the boat, and another party reported that I was selling a stolen boat (which used to belong to them). The boat was taken from me, and returned to the owner. Can I sue the seller for return of the money I paid to him for a boat that I now cannot use?
