My fiance and I have been together for about 1 1/2 years, we are planning on getting married.

My fiance came to the United States at the age of 8 with his father who is now a Citzen. My fiance has filed for residency here, will that effect us filing for a marriage visa.
We plan on filing for the K3 visa, would that be wise? and also what should we apply for a long with that.
