    Shoplifting & Immigration Status
If you are an immigrant on a visa, you should consult a lawyer familiar with immigration law issues before you enter a plea. If you cannot afford a lawyer, consider petitioning the court to appoint one to represent you.

    2) what is the punishment?
    3) will this be on record?
    4) will i sentenced to jail?
    5) will my future employers know about this?
    6) will they pardon me if i plead guilty?
