Double Contempt
My question involves criminal law for the state of: Florida
I was found in comtempt 1 1/2 years ago and ordered to pay my ex $$. After court, we talked and agreed becuase he owed me so much $$ in medical fees, we would call it even. Well, now we are not getting along again and he filed another contempt motion.:wallbang:
My questions-is jail possible since this is round 2, can my 15 year old testify to what he knows on my behalf, can I change venue if the court is 2 hours away because I have moved from the original order and lastly, how can I get the judge to see he only does this when he is angry with me?

Re: Double Contempt
You cannot just agree outside of court to not pay any mind to a court order. If you want to "call it even", it needs to be done through the courts.
That he only files when he's mad isn't going to have much bearing - it's the court you disobeyed, not him.
