Believed to be wrongfully terminated (at-will employee)
I was written up 3 times. First, for something that was my fault so to speak. Second, was written up for calling in sick (my supervisor said, I did not give any reason why I was calling in). I called him 3 hours and 45 minutes before my shift starts (company policy 2 hours before). I told my supervisor that "I was not feeling well and I'm not coming to work". And the third time, my boss said I send in a file twice to our third party vendor which causes the customer to be billed twice. I found out from our vendor that they have a system that detects if a file is a duplicate file and will only process one, basically my boss lied to get rid of me. Do I have a case for wrongful termination. Thanks.

    Wrongful Termination?
Are you represented by a union, did you have a contract of employment, or does your employer have a formal, established disciplinary process that was not followed?
