Video And Audio Recording In Pennsylvania
My question involves criminal law for the state of: PA
I have a question about Pennsylvania Law on recording Video and Audio.
I have video and audio recording set up in my house for security reasons and have a HUGE sign posted on my door. Look at the link. Is anything I record inside my house submersible in court to use as defense?

Re: Video And Audio Recording In Pennsylvania
The admissability of evidence is decided by the trial Judge, under the PA Rules of Evidence.
What is the purpose of the Q? Do you anticipate a home invasion or possible assault/damage to property due to revenge, etc?
Re: Video And Audio Recording In Pennsylvania
Someone has left Drug Paraphernalia in my car and I got pulled over and charged for it. He is not willing to admit it was his in court, but I do have people willing to go to court and testify it was his and even that he stated he left it in there. I just wanted to sure it up because he talks freely about in my house. But with the consent law in Pa I am a little worried about if it was legal. I do not want to do something that is illegal.

I am assuming then PA is a 2 party state??
I'd say by entering the premises, it constitutes consent to be recorded.
Similar to a telephone answering machine, even in states with 2 party consent.
Once the message comes on and they know they will be taped, if they leave a message, they consented to be recorded.
Re: Video And Audio Recording In Pennsylvania
That is what I am thinking but it is such a touchy subject here in Pa I am unsure.
