Can I Get Emancipated?

I have to add that a judge wouldn't consider your "estate" as part of your income. He will want to see that you are working and continuously to prove that you will not rely on Government aid. So that is off the table. You need a job period and for a length of time.
Second, it won't happen right as soon as you turn 16 it is a long process. And unless there is a significantly valid reason a Judge will not approve of it.

I realize you believe everyone here is giving you bad advice but infact they are not. It is what is the Law, they didn't make the Law they are just explaining it to you.
Emancipation is not a break into the easy life it is a walk into a life with nothing but school and working.
While I am at it you cannot get a job and hold it until you get emancipated and then think you can rely on the "estate". The Judge can revoke his decision and send you back home.

Are you the same person as the OP? She is not scared and alone. I have reviewed this entire thread again and there is not one place where she mentions being scared and alone. She is with her mother and is fighting with her hence she is a typical teen and most definately not alone. I, personally did not "put her down". She is a very angry young lady and will not be emancipated as she wishes, it's just not going to happen. If she cannot handle her attitude on a forum, she certainly is not going to be able to do it in the real world. She cannot be "angry" everytime she can't get what she wants. The rest of the world will not cater to an angry teen.
