How Do I Start My Emancipation?
My question involves emancipation laws for the State of: Wisconsin
I'm 17 , have a steady job for almost a year and am getting a raise, get good grades and never get into trouble. I live with my mom and step-dad but wish to be emancipated. I already take care of myself and pay for my own food, neccessities. They just won't let me leave...How do I start getting emanicpated. Where do I go and what do I do?

Having a steady job does not mean you make enough for self support. While I search to see if your state even has a statute for emancipation answer this...

    What is your income?
    Where will you live?
Wha tis your plan for independent living?
What is your plan for continued education?

$600.00 a month is not very much and as I told you there is no statute for process in your state. When do you turn 18?

Thats when you can plan on leaving. Your state has no statute and your income is not enough for self support
