Going To Traffic Court On Somebody Else's Behalf
My question involves traffic court in the State of: Illinois

My 21 y/o son got in an accident on 2/25/2008 (his fault), as far as I know the insurance took care of everything (the insurance is in my name). My son started a new job this past Monday, can I go to court on his behalf (4/14/2008)? If so, will they dismiss it if the other party is not present or can I plead guilty on his behalf, pay the ticket and get his license back?

He needs to go there himself or get an adjournment. If he fails to appear, he will be defaulted.

    Or hire a lawyer.
