    First Time Shoplifting at Wal-Mart
I got caught for shoplifting @ Walmart in Oklahoma City for value of about $30, but I didn't get a chance to contact my lawyer. I got bailed out ($700) after two hours. I got a citation to appear in court in about a month & 1/2. That was my DUMBEST mistake.:wallbang: My question is in OklahomaCity by contacting the lawyer will he/she able to help to clear out my record or reducing the charge? Is there any advise you can give on how I should legally approach this? Thank you very much.

to get out on bail of 700.00 do you have any priors on your record? doesn't sound right under 30.00 dollars and you were bailed out on a 700.00 bond.

i was caught with felony shoplifting, no priors clean record and i was release on no bond at all, got out without paying anything

so you need to tell the rest of the story

Bond is entirely up to the judge. Granted 700.00 does sound a tab bit high for a first time misdemeanor offended... but it's possible. I have known judges to set low bond for repeat offenders, but set an astronomical bond for first time offenders. It really just depends on the judges mood that day.
