Evicting Tenant Without A Lease In Georgia
I signed a property management agreement with a company that has failed to make rental payments into my bank account for 90 days, ignored repeated requests for a copy of the tenant's lease and refused to return my phone calls.

For various reasons, I believe the tenant and property management company are working together to scam me.

I have terminated the property management contract. My question: Can I begin eviction proceedings against the tenant if I do not have a copy of the lease? How can I get a copy of the lease if neither the property management company nor the tenant will provide it?

    Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Ask the tenant to provide proof he/she paid rent. You should also talk to an Attorney about sueing proprty mangment compnay for non payment

    Thanks for responding, Panther.

I've asked the tenants to provide confirmation that they've paid and a copy of the lease. They keep saying they're going to send it, but they never have.

I've had an attorney call the property management company, but his calls aren't being returned either.

Does anyone know if I can evict the tenants, who live in Georgia, without having a lease in hand?

    Thanks.

If you have no record of payment of rent from either mangement team or renters and no deposits in your bank then yes you can
