Questions About Alienation Of Affection In Tennessee
Does Tn have any laws pertaining to this? My wife and i seperated in October, and are starting the divorce prrocess now. We have a 19 mo old daughter. I suspected her cheating before the seperation and i have now confirmed through phone records and her personal friends, who are willing to take the stand in my behalf if necessary, that she did cheat on me with a guy she worked with and then again with a girl ahe worked with. Since the seperation she has been with an ex bf who is a convicted felon drug dealer and is currently living with another guy. We have been able to verbally work out a 50-50 custody schedule with our daughter but i am filing the divorce papers hopefully this week. My question is will this be taken into account in the custody decision? She is clearly unstable so i am going to try for primary custody. Do i have any advantage? Any thoughts? Also i forgot to mention that when she was cheating with the first guy and then girl that she would leave my daughter with me and go stay the night with them, she would leave around 5 in the evening stay out all night, leave for work the next morning from that persons house and then return home to me and my daughter for a few hours before doing it all over again, would this be Abandonment? Any thoughts?

Tennessee abolished the cause of action for alienation of affection, back in 1997.
