Can I file for joint legal custody without filing for any other type of custody?
The reasoning behind it would be that since I would have to pay for anything the child would get himself into, I should have a say in what he can and cannot do...I guess to clarify that statement would be to say, if there are any legal issues with him, I would want to be notified and given the chance to make a joint decision instead of just getting notice later that something huge happened and I had no say in it.
I hope that wasn't too confusing...
