Yes i have been liing with my g/f for about a year nand she has a daughte. I have known her dughter for her whole life. The other week i had spanked her for playing with bleach, she is 16 months old. I had left bruise on her buttocks i had spanked hr over her clothes two times. I have been arrested in the state of wisconsin. I just would like to know if anyone knows what could happen. are we talkin like jail time or probation im kinda scared. I have never spanked her before on the butt. and its not like i abuse her, i had just spanked her too hard. she is now in a foster home and both her mother and me are scared. the mother gets to see her every week for 2 hours. but i have a no contact order. i was justwondering what could happen to me.

well im 21 now and i have a diorderly conduct charge from when i was 17 and i hvaeanother thing form when i was 12 years old.

Okay, so now tell us what really happened. For the state to intervene in a family and place an infant in foster care over a spanking, we're talking some serious bruising. How did this even come to the attention of the state?

she had gone to daycae and the daycare had seen them. and then the caseworker said that we all make mistakes and i made one and now my job is to get things back to how they used to be. i dont know what the bruises looked like. the infant had to get like 10 tests done at childrens hospital. but everything came up good except for the bruising. the report from the social worker said severe linear bruising.

Wait just a second - did you say the infant?? How did I miss that before?? You CAN NOT spank a one year four month baby/toddler/whatever for "playing with bleach"!!! You are supposed to be watching her and making sure she is no where NEAR the bleach. Severe bruising AND an unsafe home... I think you need some serious parenting classes at the very least...
