Personal Belongings Being Disposed Of Without Consent
Residing in Georgia, the family that invited my son who is 19 years old to live with them for the last 1 1/2 years has told him that they are getting rid of his belongings while he is in process of relocating. (He has not officially moved anywhere and was visiting relatives out of town when he decided that he may want to move) He requested to pick up his belongings and they have refused stating that they have gone through his room & are changing his car title and disposing of his possessions. No rent was ever paid or requested, he had a separate room that he resided in in their home. Does he have any rights to demand his property or is it completely lost?

There's more to the picture here, isn't there.
He can demand his property. If they don't give him his property, he can file a police report and/or sue them. (The police may tell him that "it's a civil matter", but he won't know that until he asks.)
How could they change the title to his car without his signature?
