    After Bankruptcy, Savings Gone
I filed bankruptcy and the judge said i could get my savings account money back from the collection agency, but could not direct me wth legal advice. Does anyone know what steps i need to take to pursue this?

Can you provide the context? Did they violate the bankruptcy court's stay?

I agree with need a little more info. Did you have a lawyer help you with your bankruptcy - you could talk to him/her.

The Judge asked if i had just checking acct. I said I had chk & sav, but savings was taken and the judge asked how much was in sav. I told him and he then said, you can get that back.
I didn't have a lawyer, and there was no violation of the bankruptcy stay. I filed after they took my savings, but before they could garnishee my pay.
