Help Help PLEASE

Hi ok so my family and i are really in a bind. The problem we are having is due to the custidy of my brothers baby. Ok so my brother was dating a married woman and got her pregnant and had a baby well the mother gave the child up for adoption without my brother even knowing, he has filled to stop the adoption bc he would like to have a paternity test and to have custody of the baby pending the test. well it is his baby but now the courts are saying he has no right to the baby bc he is seen as unfit. SO can my family adopt his baby? Do I as his sister have rights to his baby verses the couple who is trying to get custody?? please please help me The st all this is happening in FL ive been researching the laws but arent really getting anywhere.. thanks so much

What are the reasons given by the court that it is believed that your brother is unfit?

The ONLY person who would have any legal standing at all to contest the adoption is your brother. No other family memeber has any legal rights in this situation.

Does your brother have an attorney?

I am not sure exactly why he was denied and seen unfit. I do know they are goin gto see a lawer tomarrow but i live in another state and am a bit out of the loop but my husband and i are ready to step in and adopt his baby if he is unable to get custody. I mean do i have the right to do that or would the baby be handed over to the people who are also trying to adopt her?
