Drug Possession: Resolving Drug Charges

hi, hope someone can help, my friends son was arrested in ohio for drug paraphenlia and possession. He didnt tell us and missed his court date, he is a resident of west virginia. We got a paper from bmv stating they were suspending his license for failure to appear. This is how we found out about the charges, we found his info on a court website for ohio and there is now a warrant for him. Also it says 2,500 bond. also states 4th degree misdameanor and minor mis. He has yet to tell us about the charges. What recourse do we have as far as his driverslic are concerned since they were issued by WV and the outstanding warrants thanks
