I'm 16 And Pregnant - How Do I Get Emancipated

Im currently living in Virginia, and im 16 and pregnant. A friend of mine offered me to live in her house.. if i took care of her child. Taking care of her child would be my job.. and in return my payment would be room and board. Could this be considered for the having a job part of the emancipation law?? Also.. i have earned my GED, and am starting college next semester. Hopefully, i can get a job working at the college as part of the work force program. I really need to know how to get emancipated.. and if the things i have planned are satisfactory.

You don't. When you got pregnant your chances of getting legally emancipated went right out the window. The chances that any judge will emancipate a pregnant teenager are zero.

Even if you were not pregnant, babysitting for room and board would NOT satisfy the job requirements.
