Can I Be Charged With Felony Possession With Intent To Distribute?
today i was in the police department in my town in PA and i was speaking to a detective. they know i had 2 ounces of high grade mmarijuana but the detective said to me "you will not be charged for the marjiuana". I am now free of this crime correct? because the detective himself said i will not be charged for the marijuana. i let this be known to the other detectives and they were all baffled he said this and then said they "override" his statement. i then proceeded to say " i was told by an XXXX township offical that i will not be charged for any drug related crimes"

No you are not safe. any officer or this one can still charge you if there is sufficent evidence to do so.

Without knowing the details or charge we cant say. Regardless of amount if "might" be a felony to sell or intend to sell.

    Yes, yes they can.

Panther is right, we need more details. We can't just pull something out of thin air, pat you on your head, and send you on your merry way. Spill it, kiddo, or no one here can even try to help you.
