Public Intoxication California Two Years After DUI Conviction
I was picked up friday night walking home from the bar drunk. I spent the night in jail and was released the next day after my bac was low enough. This is my first offense in California, but my second of my life. I had a DUI in New Hampshire two years ago. I am wondering what I should do? Should I get a lawyer or not? And, what do you think they will do to me?

Public Intoxication arrests are often settled by the arrest and in those cases no further prosecution is necessary.
You should always consult an attorney. If you have a court case pending, then speak to an attorney. In the end, this should be a big nothing ... depending on the overall circumstances. Unless you got into a fight with someone or caused some other damage, you are likely to come away with little more than maybe probation and a fine at the worst.
