Caught stealing a DVD from WalMart, 16 years old
11-03-05 me and my boyfriend went into wal mart to get me some new glasses not thinking i or he was going to steal anything. After we finished with my glasses we walked in the electonics area, My boyfriend Brad picked up a dvd and told me he was going to steal it bc it was R Rated and he is only 16 so he couldnt buy it. after we walked out of the electronics area there was two ladies standing around looking at us weird I didnt think much of it and I even forgot about the Dvd. We walked in the craft section to get some paint for school and he started to unrap the dvd so the alarm wouldnt go off. Then I went and paid for my stuff and that lady that was looking at us weirdly was behind me in line. As soon as we walked out a man grabbed my boyfriend Brad by his throat and held him down and those 2 ladies started touching him to feel for the dvd. They braught us in the office and tried giving me soem of the blame but I found otu it was a test to see if I had something to do with it. I began crying because brad cant get in trouble bc his parents are in north carolina and he is staying with me in virginia till they get all unpacked. The lady called the police officer and he showed up and he didnt write him a ticket or anything? He really didnt seem like much was going to happen but he did call my mom and tell her she had to go to court for him because she is his legal gardian for a week. Brad is moving to North carolina next week and I dont know what to do because im not sure if they were just trying to scare us saying he will have to go to court or what ? Is it up to the cop to make the decisons or is it up to the manager at wal mart ???? asap please contact me or write me an email fattcows@msn.com

If the officer told your boyfriend that he has to go to court next week, it would be normal for him to issue some form of ticket or appearance slip, or for one to be delivered by mail.

Congrats to the Walmart's LPs that took you down! Funny how there isn't even a shred of remorse in your post... You and your boyfriend deserve what you get. Oh! Stick with him and you'll go far! *Laughing all the way home*

I'm sorry person, actually I'm not. Everything in Western society is so bleeding heart and all about the rights of the accused. Maybe if you had the intelligence to come up with a mildly witty pseudonym I might spend the time to explain some more about the world to you. I'll also add that if little miss accomplice here had pulled her head out of her boyfriends a55 long enough to look around for a second or two she would have seen this coming.

Still, Retail, she didn't steal any thing. I didn't expect to find people belittling teenagers here - geez.

Anyway, it's not like Wal-Mart is going to lose their metaphorical shirt over one DVD a 16 year old kid tried to steal.

Typical Wally-World LP's grab a teenager by the throat and take him down so a couple of old hags can grope him a little.....didn't even leave the building I'm guessing. Can you say 'over-kill'?

Retail spy, People come here to get / give advice and learn, not to be judged. Cut her some slack. After all, you're from Canada.
