Re: First Time Cought In A Shoplefting
Sometimes you can get the date changed, or hire a lawywer and have him appear in your place, the best advice anybody can give you right now, is find a good criminal defense lawywer, especially if you are trying to gain American citizenship.

i've found a lowyers over the internet with a free consaltation when i explained my situation she said that we can change the court date also it's not going to appair on your record coz its a misdimeaner and the case will be dismissed after they send me to a special program and i could get a comunity service but i't will cost me $3500 wich i cant afford it in the first place, i've asked many people about such a case they said all the same , most likely a fine with comunity service.

is it really important to get a lawyer??????
    and thanks for the reply

I think somebody who knows immigration better than me should answer this, but I would say yes it's important, might sound like a lot of money now, but you'll be glad you payed it when you're still able to be come a US citizen.
