Thats there is NO STATUTE! Meaning there is no law for emancipation in NJ which will make an already very difficult process even tougher!

let me explain a little more in detail what I was thinking

I currently have a case open with dyfs, they can remove me from the household obviously. And I didnt know if having a case open with dyfs would help get me emancipated

But I do have a place to go if I get emancipated. I have a family that will financially support me, put me in school, pay for college,a car, clothes ect. I can afford hire a lawyer and a social worker to help me,I just didnt know if that would help me or not

if I show that I can take care of myself I'm guessing that would help the process?

my parents are physically and mentally abusive and they dont leave marks strictly because they know I report it right away

But I want to get out of here as soon as possible, but i want to do it legally obviously...I don't want to get marked as a run away

    This is not emancipation!

Furthermore as you have been told NJ has no statute. This means your state has no legal means for you to be emancipated so it isnt going to happen!

Those things are not legal and the proper agency needs to get involved to protect the child/children. If the children are removed from the home, they help find a suitable home to help the child.

You could legally get out with your parents permission.
