I was told there is no age for emancipation in nj does that mean you can be emancipated at any age?
What you were probably told is is there is no statute for emancipation in NJ
And that is?
so its not impossible its just really hard to get done
If I have a lawyer and a social worker helping would that help?
let me explain a little more in detail what I was thinking
I currently have a case open with dyfs, they can remove me from the household obviously. And I didnt know if having a case open with dyfs would help get me emancipated
But I do have a place to go if I get emancipated. I have a family that will financially support me, put me in school, pay for college,a car, clothes ect. I can afford hire a lawyer and a social worker to help me,I just didnt know if that would help me or not
if I show that I can take care of myself I'm guessing that would help the process?
my parents are physically and mentally abusive and they dont leave marks strictly because they know I report it right away
But I want to get out of here as soon as possible, but i want to do it legally obviously...I don't want to get marked as a run away
This is not emancipation!Quote:

Furthermore as you have been told NJ has no statute. This means your state has no legal means for you to be emancipated so it isnt going to happen!
okay so is there a way for me to legally get out?
No need to be rude to me I'm just curious and want help,I dont need to be treated like I am an idiot
You were told several times it was not possible!:wallbang:
No. There is no way for you legally to get out.
