H1 Transfer
Hi everybody,
I came on H1b for company "X", and i started looking for projects and my company "X" dint help me in getting projects and now i got a project from company "Y" and i started working for company "Y" without informing company "X". So is there anyway they could figure out that i am working for "Y" or are there any chances of my H1-b cancelled and i am going to apply for H1 transfer without pay stubs from my previous employer so will it work out to transfer my h1 without paystubs or is there any other alternative or Should i revoke my existing h1b and apply for fresh h1b or should i go for h1 transfer. Please help me out in this scenario.
Thanks

Re: H1 Transfer
boobj, it's hard to tell what happened in your situation. If you are stating that you were improperly "benched" by your H1B employer (they're supposed to pay you for time that you're benched), you can complain to the Department of Labor - but if you're not working, you're out of status. If you're stating that you were terminated by your employer because they don't have work for you, and perhaps also that you never even started working for the employer, that would have put you out of status.
It's going to be difficult to try to "transfer" an H1B when you have no pay history, so I suggest consulting an immigration lawyer.
