No, I have never been arrested and transported to jail for any crime. Even my last traffic citation was over 20 years ago.
I hope I never encounter actual incarceration,even temporary, such as awaiting a bail hearing/arraignment. -

Nope not once, I have never even been in the back of a cop car, however it's on my bucket list.
I have it all planned out. I'm gonna wait until I'm old with blue hair. And it's gonna be for something really stupid. Not much to look forward to when you get old, think it would be a great story for the grandkids to share with their friends. :) -

I've been in jails, but it was "all in a day's work". I could call the deputy and leave, whenever I chose. If you have to go to jail, that's the way to do it. ;)

As a teen I ran away from home once, and naturally mom reported it to the police.. well I came home within 2 days because I missed the comforts of home, but the police never dropped the runaway warrant even after mom notified them I was home... so....
Fast forward 3 years later, I'm about to turn 18 and am working with a ministry that helps homeless and at risk youth. I go to the county jail to visit with one of them for a prayer meeting, and on my way back out they arrested me!!! I was told I was being picked up on a runaway warrant, and of course my attempts to explain that I had been back home nearly 3 years and in fact lived with my mother at the time got me nowhere. They held me in a little cell and refused to contact my mother until after they had a police officer come down and transport me to the city jail to process me, and THEN they would call my mom. So after a hellish experience they finally called mom who cleared the matter up in seconds and came to get me. What a waste of taxpayers money.
There's nothing like that feeling of confinement... ugh. -

You mean you have never "intentionally" broken the law, correct? It is always possible a person has "UNknowingly" broken the law! There are a lot of laws on the books, municipal, county, state, federal.
The old adage/maxim "Ignorantia legis neminem excusat", Ignorance of the law is no excuse, is not always a defense to breaking the law, sometimes yes.

Ok, so apparently I am the slow learner here. I've been a few times, but nothing major. {suspended license, improper license, that kinda stuff} Not yet, anyway. Never served anytime, but I did have to eat there twice. There ain't burgers, fries and large sweet tea on the menu. Just cheese sammiches.
My excuse is simple: I have always wanted to learn law. I just went about it backwards. What can I say?? I am from Georgia. -
