MIP 25662(a) Infraction

hey my name is todd and i am 19 years old and i was wondering what will happen to me if i got a 25662(a) infraction. Due note it is my first time getting this. The cop said i will just get a fine and if that is ture how much will it be and if i do pay the fine do i still have to go to court.

As is explained here, you'll also have a one year license suspension if convicted of the infraction. You may request a restricted license after the suspension.

ok so what counts as a conviction?
and in the linked thread its not stated how much, so how much?
