    Shoplifting In Tandem, Walmart Wants To Combine Restitution
    i was turned in by someone for shoplifting from walmart it was me and someone else but he took the big items i was getting christmas presents for my wife when the police came to my house i gave all the items back that i took and was not banned

    since the other person took the big items he got banned from wal-mart

    my charge is a mistermeaner his was a felony

    here is the problem is the restition to pay to walmart is combinded with his so if he doesent pay it falls back on me

    is there anything i can do about that to get it seperate

    It's a darned good thing that they did not nail you with a Felony conspiracy charge [to commit a felony or grand larceny] or hit you with an accessory charge.

    You need to ensure that your friend pays the restitution. LP has you by the necktie and will squeeze if they can. They will get their $$.

    You need to consult a criminal defense Attorney and protect your own interests. Urban is correct because you were with this person the dollar value could have been combined and your charge a felony. Feel very fortunate
