I recently received my second MIC charge in Travis County, Texas. I passed my deferral period for my previous charge, but I was told that I would have to wait until I was 21 to have my first offense expunged from my record. Will this I be able to have this second offense expunged as well or is this up to the judge to decide. This is important as I am currently pursuing a career in medicine and to my knowledge the Texas state bar counts alcohol offenses as drug offenses.
