Emancipation In Arkansas

I have 3 older sisters and I live with the oldest whos my half sister and my only full sister whos 18 months older than me. My full sister is bipolar and has split personalities she throughs tantrums when she doesn't get her way and has been in truble with drugs before and is always trash talking my dad but hardly ever gets punished or punished long enough to make her understand her mistakes. I missed a few days of school from over sleeping and having no way to school and my dad has since then and before then degraded me and accussed me of doing drugs. My parents got a divorce about 2 years ago and my mom moved 3 hours away and I never get to see her and don't want to move because of the few friends I have here and my boyfriend and his family. They have told me I could live with them if my dad would let me but he won't. I get verbaly abused and constintley treated like dirt by my sister and she knows every way to hurt me and will use it against me. Is this worth getting emancipated? Arkansas

To be emancipated means you are working full-time and supporting yourself 100%.

Are you doing that?

I can only work part time I'm in school but my boyfriends mom said I could stay here with her and just help her with the bills because I do have a part-time job

Then you cannot be emancipated.

Rachel emancipation is about "self" support. having someone help support you does not meet that criteria. If your home is abusive contact CPS

Is there a way that I can at least get a break from him by staying here for a while its close by and he knows where I am I just don't have to wake up to my sister yelling at me and my dad yelling at me for a couple of days? If emancipated can you work more hours?

I know that but is there a way I can just get like I week away not emancipated just like a vacation from him kind of thing. Just so I don't have to wake up and cry in the moring then have to go to school with puffy eyes.

Talk to a CPS caseworker about that. Here in CA few years back there was a program called "Time out for parents" that did exactly that
