At Fault Accident And Unsafe Speed Ticket
    Hi everyone...
    Im from california
Im 17 and have had my license for a year and and a half..
I have 2 points on my license and got a suspension from fed 10 to mar 10. (I can get 3 points before I get a 6mo suspension)
then last wendsday I was involved in an at fault accident in the rain, the lady in the other car was injured (Broke her legs) and I was given an unsafe speed ticket....
I dont know what Im looking at here Ive tried to get ahold of some lawyers but cant get any awnsers.....

Ive heard in an at fault accident you can get 2 points if the other person is injured, Ive heard 1 point and heard none if its you're first accident....

    Please help me...

You can get a point for the citation, and a point for being declared the party at fault.

    Try these links:

    http://www.dmv.ca.gov/teenweb/more_b...nts/points.htm

    http://www.dmv.ca.gov/dl/vioptct.htm

    http://www.dmv.ca.gov/dl/driversafety/neg_operator.htm

Perhaps driving is not for you ... you might consider hanging up the car keys for a while until you have learned how to drive more safely.
